5th Paris African Book Fair

We eagerly await your arrival on March 20, 21, and 22 for this 5th edition, which promises to be a rich and rewarding event with over 150 publishers and 400 authors in attendance. Around forty conferences will be offered, covering a variety of topics (history, literature, economics, politics, ecology, science, philosophy, etc.), including those related to this year's theme, as well as a presentation of Beninese and Angolan literature. The program will be available online on March 1, 2026. As every year, the Paris African Book Fair will be an opportunity to meet and listen to leading figures in African and Afro-descendant literature. Approximately twenty countries will be represented.
Two literary prizes will be awarded at the book fair:
The Grand Prix Afrique on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
The Prix du Beau Livre Africain on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
