5th Paris African Book Fair

We eagerly await your arrival on March 21, and 22 for this 5th edition which promises to be a rich and rewarding event with over 150 publishers and 400 authors in attendance. Around 20 conferences will be offered, covering a variety of topics (history, literature, economics, politics, ecology, science, philosophy, etc.), including those related to this year's theme, as well as a presentation of Angolan literature. As every year, the Paris African Book Fair will be an opportunity to meet and listen to leading figures in African and Afro-descendant literature. Twenty countries will be represented.
We will have 400 auteurs at signings among wich: Marguerite Abouet, Kebir Ammi, Joël Assoko, Monna Azam, Maurice Bandaman, Gaëlle Bellem, Meryem Belkaïd, In Koli Jean Bofane, Jocelyn Danga, Jean Aimé Dibakana, Asya Djoulaït, Henri Djombo, Suzanne Dracius, Fidèle Goulyzia, Pierre Haski, Amadou Elimane Kane, Yamen Manai, Boniface Mongo Mboussa, Eric Mukendi, Na Hassi, Nimrod, Ousmane N’diaye, Gaël Octavia, Philomé Robert, Rodney Saint Eloi, Véronique Tadjo, Samir Toumi, Anne Terrier, Fawzia Zouari.
Two literary prizes will be awarded at the book fair:
The Grand Prix Afrique on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
The African illustrated books Prize on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
